This evening, MJ has his first ever soccer practice.

I played in school and have coached little ones before. When I realized I could sign him up this summer, I figured since I have to be there for everything anyway, why not coach him and his team? Well, coaching five and six year olds who had never played before was not as easy as I thought it would be. But we had so much fun. At least until two of the kids decided they were done. And how did they display this? They decided to lay down on their stomachs in the middle of the area where we were playing.

I think this will be a great experience for MJ. He only really knows the kids he goes to school with and this will help him get to know some of the kids that live around us. Plus, he’s just super jazzed about it.
